Maybe you’re a newbie in the startup world, trying to create your first presentation about your business concept? Or you’ve actually been on the market for a while and you’re wondering how to improve your pitch deck? This blog post is an ultimate step-by-step guide to create a perfect teaser about your innovative idea that will help you cover all the necessary areas - let’s get down to business! It takes a quick glance, maybe a couple of seconds, to evaluate a person when meeting for the first time. First impressions are most often impossible to reverse and they, later on, set the tone of how someone perceives you or your project. When it comes to indirect ways in how you communicate your startup idea to potential investors or business partners, most often it is your pitch deck that speaks on behalf of your revolutionary solution.
Speaking fluently in public and sharing your knowledge effectively are highly desired skills. After all, it’s all about your personal branding and how others perceive you and your company. No matter how many speaking opportunities are behind you, for sure you have practised a lot and collected tips and tricks from professional speakers worldwide on how to engage your audience and look professional. How about speaking in public in the times where there is no real audience in front of you? How to act professionally if your listeners are there fully remote and you’re talking to them via your laptop or tablet camera? We know how uncertain the feeling may be. That is why we have collected some pieces of advice that we recommend you to consider while being a speaker during an online event.
We live in rapidly changing times. Technology has been a formidable source for accelerating growth. As a result, many industries will evolve more over the next 20 years than over the last 200. At the same time, many will face unprecedented challenges. Today, we are seeing a new type of uncertainty. The global health crisis has stopped ‘life as normal’ across much of the world and we are coming into a period of significant economic uncertainty. No management strategies or contingency planning could have ever prepared businesses for the world that is about to unveil in the upcoming months. And the truth is that the future is uncharted and we can't map it till we get there.
We are so excited because of the launch of our monthly networking online events! This time it was all about business industry forecasts in the face of economic situation worldwide and the pitching contest - we wanted to emphasize the ones that fight on the market the most - our startup community. Nearly 50 of them fought for a guaranteed seat in the Expara VC - the Strategic Sponsor of the April edition of the Contest - VirTech Global Accelerator. Omnious, the Winner of the main award, is developing new solutions to help unlock the secrets of biology. Below you can find out the live stream recordings from the April event, including the winning pitch!
