The applications for volunteering are open until May 15th, 2023. Alpha Wolves is about to kick off. This year the Wolves are coming together in the heart of London, at Pullman St Pancras, to bring together LPs, GPs, growth-stage companies, and professional business service providers interested in creating new connections and scaling internationally. Wolves Summit and Poznan Science and Technology Park (PPNT) have formed a strong community partnership through different projects and scaling support activities addressed to European startups. Currently, Poznan Science and Technology Park (PPNT) is participating in GreenTech 2.0 project, which empowers green tech clusters to support SMEs in exploiting growth opportunities, service innovation, resource-efficient solutions, market traction, finding investments and internationalization. It is accompanied by strategic partnering between clusters and specialized eco-systems and cities resulting in a new, joint GreenTech Services 2.0 portfolio for participating clusters, including the implementation of the ClusterXchange Programme.

Polish companies are sharing innovative solutions with their peers from Moldova

Wolves Summit was selected by the Polish Challenge Fund to help Moldovan innovators to scale abroad and Ukrainian businesses relocate. The project - Connect 4 Growth - is implemented by UNDP with the financial support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and Polish Aid, in partnership with Moldova Innovation Technology Park - the central hub for all innovative tech businesses in Moldova. The partnership aims to boost Moldova's #innovation ecosystem and increase local startups' resilience by creating learning and networking opportunities and bringing international exposure and expertise.

7th November 2022, Vienna | On 20-21st October 2022, another successful Wolves Summit was held, organized with the Cooperation Partner, Vienna Business Agency and City of Vienna. For the first time, the event brought the CEE ecosystem players to Austria, ending up with 1136 attendees & 3932 scheduled 1:1 meetings in the span of 2 days. Climate tech investment in Central and Eastern Europe has grown 50x in past 8 years but funding gaps remain, finds new report by PwC and Wolves Summit

Climate tech investments in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) are rising rapidly, from US$10.6m in 2013 to US$398m in 2020, and over US$502m in the first half of 2021 alone. More than US$1.758 bn has been invested in climate tech in CEE between 2013 and the first half of 2021. The CEE region contributes to approximately 3.73% of all GHG emissions, but currently attracts only 0.79% of global climate tech investment. Mobility start-ups attract the most climate tech funding in CEE with 54.4% of the total in the last year. Start-ups in Estonia and Lithuania raised 83% of total climate tech investment in the region. Despite being the largest economy, Poland has raised only 4.65% of total climate tech funding in CEE between 2013 and the first half of 2021. Energy sector start-ups only attracted 1.29% of total CEE climate tech funding during the same period. The CEE edition of PwC’s Net Zero Future50 report, produced in partnership with Wolves Summit, presents the state of climate tech investments in 27 countries across the region and profiles a selection of 50 innovative start-ups working in this sector.
