In order to participate in the Wolves Summit as a startup you can apply here and follow the steps.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE IN WOLVES SUMMIT?
Participation is free of charge for 300 selected startups.
DO YOU PROVIDE CATERING, ACCOMMODATION, AND TRANSPORT TO THE CONFERENCE?
Qualified startup participates in the conference for free. We provide catering during the event. We do not provide accommodation nor transport.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS?
Startups can apply until 21tst September 2018 end of the day.
WHY IS A RECRUITMENT PROCESS REQUIRED?
Recruitment process is needed since we have more applications than spots. We receive over 3000 applications before each edition. The company evaluation is based on information from the registration form and a questionnaire. Only 300 best startups will be invited to join the conference and will be able to participate in Wolves Summit free of charge.
I’VE ALREADY APPLIED. WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?
Make sure you provided very detailed information in the questionnaire. You can upload a short video pitch or a presentation. The more detailed data you give, the bigger chances to participate in the conference. We’ll be letting you know about the next steps via email.
WHY DO I NEED TO FILL OUT QUESTIONNAIRES AND WHAT ARE THEY FOR?
Filling out the questionnaire helps us get to know you better. It also makes the process of qualification to Wolves Summit easier. Out of all applications we only choose 300 best startups.
DO I HAVE TO ADD A PRESENTATION?
Attaching the presentation is not obligatory. Investors and corporation participating in the event get access to it. It doesn’t have to be a presentation you’ll want to use during a pitch. In case of qualifying to the Great Pitch challenge, we’ll ask you to send an up-to-date version.
WILL MY STARTUP HAVE A BOOTH?
The offer for startups taking part in Wolves Summit allows to lease booth space for 1 or 2 days of the conference. The number of booths is limited, so we suggest that you apply early to get the chance to exhibit with your startup. Let us know by sending an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
CAN I PARTICIPATE IN WOLVES SUMMIT, IF I DON’T FULFIL THE CRITERIA OF A STARTUP?
Yes, experienced startups on a growth stage or scaleups can participate in Wolves Summit by applying for a Scaleup path. 50 selected projects will be able to take part. The price is 400 EUR for 2 tickets. You can apply on a website. Each scaleup will get access to the matchmaking application to set up meetings with investors, executives and corporates. 7 projects will additionally get the opportunity to pitch in a competition (Scaleup path). Also, any qualified company may be independently invited to present in front of conference partners who seek projects from a specific industry.
I CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE CONFERENCE…
We choose only 300 startups to participate in the conference free of charge. If you can’t participate, let us know and give others a chance. If after claiming the ticket a startup doesn’t report their resignation 2 weeks before Wolves Summit, a cancellation fee of 500 EUR will be collected.
WHAT’S THE ROLE OF NETWORKING AT WOLVES SUMMIT?
We treat networking very seriously at Wolves Summit. For the upcoming edition we’ve booked 1200m2 of space. We draw the right people, so they can meet in one place and save time. We’re working on tools and implement the feedback to do it even more efficiently. 1:1 meetings play a special role. There were 14303 of them since the first edition.
HOW DO I CONNECT WITH INVESTORS?
As a qualified startup you will be given access to the Matchmaking Tool. The Tool lets you schedule meetings with participants before the conference begins. Other than that, during Wolves Summit there will be networking areas and evening parties. You can also benefit from a higher visibility and purchase a booth at the event. The number of booths is limited.

WHAT’S THE MATCHMAKING TOOL FOR?
Matchmaking Tool is an application available exclusively for startups, investors and executives. This is the exquisite networking platform used for matchmaking you with people according to your profiles and setting up speed dates with them. You can also use different filters and request meetings with all Wolves Summit’s VIPs.
18980 1:1 meetings took place thanks to the application so far. You will get access to the tool 2 weeks before the conference. The application is available until the end of the conference.
THE GREAT PITCH
WHAT IS THE GREAT PITCH?
The Great Pitch is a pitching challenge for 40 qualified startups and scaleups.
WHAT ARE THE STEPS IN ORDER TO TAKE PART IN THE CHALLENGE?
Firstly, you need to go through a qualification phase. Every startup applying for Wolves Summit, if it stated the willingness to participate in the Great Pitch, is also applying for the pitching challenge. The complete information about your startup, which you gave us, will help us decide whether you made it to the conference. During the recruitment process you can attach a link to your video pitch or a presentation.
After receiving an invitation to join and confirming your attendance, out of confirmed startups we’ll choose and inform the qualified startups about the participation in the Great Pitch 3 weeks before the conference.
WHEN DOES THAT GREAT PITCH START?
The contest starts on 23th October 2018. The finals are on 24th October.
WHEN WILL I KNOW THE TIME OF MY PITCH?
You will be informed about the time of your pitch prior to the event. All semi-final pitches will take place on 23th October.
DOES EVERY STARTUP QUALIFY TO THE PITCHING COMPETITION?
No. Only 40 selected startups and scaleups will be given a chance to pitch in the Great Pitch challenge. All qualified startups, however, can participate in matchmaking and meet investors and corporations.
HOW LONG IS THE PITCH?
Each startup’s presentation in the Great Pitch consists of two stages:
Presentation - max 3 minutes
Questions from the jury - 4 minutes
CAN MORE THAN ONE PERSON PRESENT?
Yes, two people may present on stage, however you must let us know prior to the event.
WHAT IS A PITCH DECK?
during the application process we’ll ask you to attach a salesdeck/pitchdesk. Participating investors and corporations get access to it. It doesn’t have to be a presentation you’ll want to use during the Great Pitch challenge. Treat them separately. If your startup’s qualified for the challenge, we’ll ask you to send your presentation. Failing to deliver is on time will mean presenting without it.
WHAT SHOULD BE THE FORMAT OF THE PRESENTATION?
Power Point and PDF formats are accepted. Keynote format is not allowed.
CAN I BRING A USB / EXTERNAL DRIVE TO THE EVENT AND PLAY MY PRESENTATION FROM IT?
No, all presentations need to be sent to us until 12th October2018. It will not be possible to play the presentation from a USB stick during the conference..
WHAT ARE THE PITCHING EVALUATION CRITERIA?
A jury of investors and industry experts will evaluate each pitch. The evaluation will be based on your team, product, its potential, competence of your team and investment readiness.
